The biggest burger empires in America aren't always the most successful when it comes to making customers happy.
According to consumer feedback, America's favourite burger destination is a mid-sized company with less than 1,000 outlets across the country.
According to a new set of data obtained by Merchant Centric, the fast-food chain Culver's ranked first among America's burger businesses in terms of customer satisfaction in 2021.
In order to uncover brands that excel in categories including food quality and flavour, staff manner, timeliness, price/value, and loyalty, the company evaluated more than 23 million customer evaluations from Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor, and Yelp.
Culver's, established in Wisconsin, delighted diners at its 882 locations, receiving an amazing 4.34 out of 5 rating. Sonic Drive-In, for example, came in second with a far lower 3.69 average rating.
Mooyah (4.43), Five Guys (4.21), and Fuddruckers (4.19) were among the other fast-casual burger restaurants that received good marks.
Wayback Burgers (3.86), Smashburger (3.77), and Steak 'n Shake (3.74), on the other hand, have a lot of room for improvement, scoring at the bottom of the customer satisfaction scale.
Surprisingly, mammoth Burger King received the lowest score in the fast-food category, with a dismal 3.34 average rating, demonstrating once again that size does not equal quality.
Customer satisfaction dropped for the majority of fast-food restaurants between January 2021 and December 2021, however burger chains did better than other restaurant categories, according to research.
