Kids Eat for Free at This Popular Burger Chain in May and June

National Hamburger Month is in May, and numerous fast-casual and fast-food restaurants are celebrating by offering specials.

For in-app purchases, Wendy's is offering a $1 BOGO burger deal. BurgerFi has launched a $14 Hoppy Meal that includes an Angus beef cheeseburger, fresh-cut fries, and a draught beer.

Smashburger has also just unveiled a new campaign aimed exclusively at children. And it's not only for the month of May!

Every Wednesday, beginning today, the Denver-based burger company will offer a free Kids Meal to youngsters under the age of 12 with the purchase of any Adult Meal. The promotion will last till June 29th.

An Adult Meal at Smashburger contains a burger or sandwich, a side, and a beverage, whereas a Kids Meal includes a hamburger, cheeseburger, or three crispy chicken strips, a side of fries, and a beverage.

Each in-store order is limited to one complimentary Kids Meal. The offer is not valid on the internet, in apps, or for third-party delivery services.

Smashburger, which now has 223 outlets in 35 states and Washington, D.C., will conduct this campaign in 176 of its locations. The complete list of participating sites can be found here.

This partnership comes after the fast-casual burger giant garnered waves for its innovative restaurant concepts.

Smashburger debuted its first restaurant with a full-service bar at its twenty-fourth location in Colorado at the end of March. Craft drinks, canned beer, and beer on tap are available at the restaurant, which is located in the brand's hometown of Denver.

According to Nation's Restaurant News, Smashburger will also open its first virtual drive-thru lane in Houston later this year.

Customers will be able to place orders ahead of time and then drive up to the restaurant to pick up their food.
